This is a lovely antique late Victorian pressed horn snuff box - it is in lovely condition with a little Cairngorm stone set into the lid with a silver mount.

The base of the box is made of glass so that you can see the contents easily.

In excellent condition with no damages, nice natural striation to the horn on the lid. The Cairngorm is a lovely subtle pale yellow colour &  the silver nice and shiny - it is not hallmarked - but it  was not a common practise to hallmark small settings at this time.

Unusual Early 20th Century Wick Striker, in the form of a Scottish Highlander. Made of cast metal with a matt silver finish. The head tips back to reveal the original wand inside.
