Highlights from Valerie's Personal Collection.
A Vintage American Wig Box, which I picked
up at an Antiques Fair in New York. It is made of pink vinyl with a Liza Minelli type figurative decoration outside.
Strangely a couple of years
after I got my wig-box, I managed to find this other strange wig related item - an original 1960s Polystyrene Wig Head, complete
with printed Twiggy face, suckers on the base to attach firmly in transit. These are now very rare to find - so a nice addition
as you can see for my box.
