the B. J. Simmons & Co. Costume Design Archive at the Harry Ransom Centre, The Univeristy of Texas, Austin. In the
1950s she designed a variety of costumes for theatrical productions in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

posters from a series produced in the 1930s, when Shell patronised a number of young British artists, under the direction
of their Director of Publicity, J.L. Beddington. See "The Thirties", Arts Council 1979-80 p. 211. Each print measured
approximately 75 x 115 cm and all were singed in the block by the artist.
