Prima Pottery was started
by Marcus Goldberger at Folkestone, Kent in 1967. His pottery was located at the top of the Old High Street. Marc produced
both domestic and decorative pieces, such as my owl - in red earthenware. His signature "Marc" and "FOLKESTONE"
are clearly impressed in the base of my owl. Marc retired as a potter in the 1990s.

Newlyn Harbour Pottery Dish, 1960s. The Pottery was founded by Dennis Lane in late 1950s and closed about 1969. It pre-dated
other Newlyn Potteries such as Celtic and Troika. Examples are in the Penlee House, Gallery and Museum, Penzance.
